Whole Body Health

When thinking about the benefits of Pilates, think of a's only as strong as its trunk and roots. Without a strong trunk and root system, the tree would topple over. The same applies to the human body. If we don't concentrate on building a good foundation- starting with the feet- and a strong trunk or core, we'll end up tight in some places and weak in others, injury-prone and susceptible to the pitfalls of our occupation or chosen form of exercise. Every Pilates exercise stretches and strengthens the body to enhance natural alignment.

Strong Foundation

The foundation of Pilates is based on core strength. Every movement originates from the core and progresses out through the extremities. The objective of Pilates is to develop core strength, flexibility and awareness in order to support efficient and graceful movement in everyday life.

The Real McCoy True Pilates

For women, Pilates will make you stronger, longer, leaner in those trouble spots and tighten up those loose parts. With committed practice, your friends will soon be complementing you on your new look!

For men, Pilates will also make you stronger and longer (better posture!), but will also help beef up those muscles in the chest and arms, and work on that spare tire at the same time. Whole Body Health.
